Staff/Job Desriptions: 1) Beach Crew-
This group of 7 people will be responsible for walking the seafront and
collecting, separating, and hauling trash and recycling to proper sites. 1) Community Outreach- This person is responsible for going into the schools, businesses, and homes to educate and recruit support. Whether this is through donations, organizing clean up days, and role models within business community for keeping their places free of trash and providing trash/recycling bins. 2) Fundraiser- This
person is responsible for going into the community and finding ongoing
ways of supporting the cleaning and recycling program. It will
be necessary to have an annual local fundraiser, ongoing business support
and a place and way to educate the incoming tourists of how to best spend
their money on local recyclable products. (2): 1) Program Administrator- This person shall be in the office daily 8-5 Mon-Sat to meet and greet visitors, volunteers and staff. Duties include but are not limited to having everyone sign necessary tracking sheets, enter data into computer, keep/hand out information flyers to visitors and keep stocked in local businesses, to keep financial records of program and staff wages. 2) Program
Assistant- To support the Program Administrator in maintaining
accurate records and provide on site support. (3): 1) Tractor Driver- One tractor driver to pick up trash from seafront/town and dispose of properly. 2) Tractor
Assistants- To accompany driver and assist in loading/unloading
trash and recycling. 1) Donkey Caretakers- These two people shall rotate accompanying donkeys in hauling town trash/recycling to proper sites. Caretaker shall be responsible for the health, well being, and proper feeding of the donkeys. |
